2018 Pilot Technology
Thanks to many advancements in the world of automotive technology, the 2018 Honda Pilot is capable of providing you with available technologies that make driving easier, and keep you safe. Take the available Lane Keeping Assist System, LKAS, for example. By utilizing a camera located on the backside of your rear-view mirror, this system closely monitors the road, and is able to detect your position within your lane. If and when the system notices that you're beginning to unintentionally veer out of your lane, it will automatically send you warnings and can even adjust your steering to get you back in your proper lane.
Also available on the 2018 Pilot is the Adaptive Cruise Control system, or ACC. While you're cruising down the highway, this system carefully monitors the distance between your Pilot, and the car ahead of you. When it detects that the car you're following is slowing down, it is able to automatically slow your speed down in order to keep you at a safe distance behind. When the vehicle in front of you begins to speed up, or if traffic clears, the system will bring your back to your set cruising speed.
2018 Pilot Versatility
Because the 2018 Pilot is capable of seating you and seven of your friends or family members, you'll be able to say goodbye to the days of taking two separate vehicles when you want to take a trip up north with your family, or out on the town for a day with your friends. Thanks to the available One-Touch feature, getting your friends or family members into the third-row of seats won't turn into a hassle anymore. Simply press a button and the corresponding second-row seat will automatically move itself forward allowing for easy access to the seats in the way back. In order to keep your second-row passengers happy, the available captain's chairs will turn the second row into first class.
When you need room for cargo instead of people, both the second and third-row of seats inside of the 2018 Pilot are capable of folding down. Because the second and third-row of seats both feature a 60/40 split-folding bench, you'll be able to configure your cargo space according to what you're hauling, and how many people came along for the ride. When it's just you, fold down both rows in the back to treat yourself to a massive 109 cubic feet of cargo space. With all that room, you'll be able to get everything your weekend project calls for in one trip!
